Murphy’s Money is a one-day course aimed at serving young adults ages 14+. This course provides information that students commonly feel would’ve been beneficial to learn in their high school courses. Topics include, (1) How to Build a Budget, (2) How to Build Credit, (3) How to Start Investing, (4) Managing Student Loans (5) How to File Taxes, (6) What’s a 401K and How to Plan for Retirement, and  (7) How to Promote Well-Being. Each of these topics include a tangible guideline or resource (i.e. excel sheets, handouts) that are provided to the students as part of the course. Additional sub-topics are included within each of the six lessons to make the information easily digestible and able to be learned by any type of student. A comprehensive and interactive example of each lesson is completed to provide students a tangible way to learn.
